I’ve never considered myself someone who favors earth tones–browns, yellows, greens, etc just don’t seem to be in my color wheel, but with fall in full swing, it felt like the right time to introduce a bit more of these shades into my wardrobe! I sometimes feel like the yellow undertones in the shades clash with my skin tone, but I’m working on getting over that! These tones just scream fall to me, so here we are! I love a good wrap top but sometimes struggle with getting it so sit right at my waist, so I really like that this top has a faux wrap design to keep everything in place! It does run a bit large though, so if you plan on ordering, I’d maybe recommend ordering a backup of a different size, or seeing if it’s available in store to try on! The corduroy skirt is a bit on the small side, especially if you’re apple-shaped like me. I’d size up in that one! The
Since I rarely wear earth tones, I wasn’t sure what shoes to pair with this look. I opted for over the knee boots but wasn’t sure if it worked in black. What do you guys think? I need to expand my boot wardrobe and pick up some more brown or tan boots! I do kind of like how the black contrasts though, especially since the top has black stripes through it as well. I opted for my Chanel chevron boy bag (this is the old medium size), which was one of my first Chanel purchases. I still love it to this day and see it on resale markets quite often. Definitely check out sites like The Real Real and Vestiare Collective if you’re interested in finding one! Would you guys be interested in a post where I talk about my designer bag purchases (how I shop/save, or maybe my designer bag collection)? I’ve been on the fence in the past simply because I know not everyone can or wants to buy designer, and I want to make sure my content is always accessible to you guys! That being said, I’m definitely a bag lover, so I’d love to share if that’s something you guys would be interested in. Let me know!
