Okay, soooooo, I may or may not have purchased this dress just for my Thanksgiving outfit because if this doesn’t look like a cornucopia of thanks and giving and goodness, I don’t know what does! haha I love the rusty burgundy shade of the dress, and the mixed greens and yellows just scream fall. The fit is nice and loose (hello food coma), and the fabric is lightweight but not flimsy. I opted to top it with a faux suede moto jacket that is so soft and high quality I actually checked to label to see if it was genuine suede! It’s super warm, and I’m finding that I reach for this jacket constantly. Love it paired with black, tan, burgundy, and cream colors! For shoes, I opted for my new wide calf over the knee boots that are suuuuper budget friendly and fit like a dream! On turkey day though, I’ll probably opt for some ankle boots for easy on/off and running around!
I’m so so so excited for Thanksgiving this year, and I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to share what will most likely be my Thanksgiving outfit, as well as share a few things I’m thankful for this year! We’ll be celebrating with family and family friends at my parents’ place as usual, and I’m so excited for all the amazing food and even better company! 😀 Which leads me to…
Some things I’m grateful for this year:
- Family – Self explanatory for the most part. Between the wedding, crazy work schedules, and quite a bit of travel, my family has been super supportive and just THERE. Ya know? Thanks guys. I love you. Also, shout out to my new fam on Thanh’s side! Thank you for always welcoming me into the fold! ❤
- Friends – This year taught me a lot about friendship and finding those people who really get you. It doesn’t matter if you’ve hung out since freshman year of high school (Hi, Alethea), or are internet buddies and only get to see one another once a year. When you click with someone, you click! So grateful for the inspiring women in my life who push me to do more, do better, and take no prisoners. 😉
- You guys! – If you’re reading this, thank you! I wouldn’t get to do the half the things that I do if it weren’t for you. Interacting with you guys on social media, via comments, DMs, emails, etc is one of my favorite parts about blogging. I keep to myself a lot IRL but you guys make me feel not-so-alone! Love ya’ll!
