It’s only getting hotter here, so I figured the best way to keep cool is to opt for flowy pieces! This leopard print caftan from Walmart Fashion has been a go-to option for me on hot days.

SUMMER CLASSIC
A crisp white shirtdress is a summertime classic, and this style from Lane Bryant is a new favorite! It has a full skirt, is fully lined (no seethrough fabrics here!), an elastic waist, and a matching self tie belt. I swapped that out for this raffia stretch belt instead and love the way it looks!
POOLSIDE
Temperatures have been in the high 90’s in SoCal, so finding ways to stay cool and comfortable has been essential. I’ve been opting for loose fitting clothes in breezy fabrics, like this tiedye jumpsuit from Walmart Fashion, which is thin but not see-through, and breathes well.
SUMMER SOMEWHERE
It’s been difficult to feel “right” posting fashion content again. It should go without saying that while I’ll be sharing some outfits again, I (and I hope you as well), will continuing to fight against racial inequality and police brutality. Head to my Instagram as I’ve been regularly sharing resources there, in-feed and in stories!
COMFY AND CHIC
Comfy and chic might be what I need to rename this blog to, because since quarantine started, comfort has been key! 🙂 Comfort and style aren’t mutually exclusive, though, and this maxi dress from Walmart Fashion is a great example.
LOOKING AHEAD
This dress checks all my favorite boxes–it’s off shoulder, swooshy, and super comfortable! I also really like that the simple print makes it seasonless, especially in So Cal!

Alternatively, you could walk around stark naked, but that’s a lifestyle I’m not ready for yet. 😛 While I’ll still be picking up new pieces to highlight brands that are sustainable…
SUSTAINABILITY AND FASHION
With all the conversation going on in the world about climate change, global warming, and environment loss, it seems a little irresponsible to ignore the impact that fashion has on the environment. Did you know that on average, Americans throw away 80lbs of clothing PER PERSON, annually?? Or how about the fact that more than…
CHUNKY KNITS AND TINY FLORALS
It may not officially be spring yet, but it feels like it! I snagged this Madewell dress in a recent Stitch Fix box and I’m looking forward to wearing it more this spring and summer! The sleeves are elastic so you can wear them on the shoulders like I did here, or off the shoulder….
