Wedding season is definitely in full swing, and many of you have probably been in a bridal party at least once in your life! As fun as being a bridesmaid is, there’s nothing worse than spending your hard-earned money on a dress you’ll only wear once. This doesn’t have to be the case though! With this look, I wanted to share an easy way to restyle and wear those bridesmaid dresses for day-to-day occasions!
Since most bridesmaid dresses are solid colors, they’re perfect for restyling with other pieces in your wardrobe! Just swap out your fancy jewelry and satin shoes for a chic, casual jacket (I’m partial to moto styles–denim and leather work too!) and some cute, summery heels or sandals and a bridesmaid dress transitions into a look that is ready for both your dressy and casual summer events!
A few tips for restyling your bridesmaid dress:
- Stick with dresses in chiffon and lace rather than shiny fabrics like charmeuse or satin
- Pair your dress with pieces in casual fabrics, like leather, denim, and knits
- Opt for a quirky accessory like this clutch or a cute stack of bracelets
- Keep your hair down and makeup simple–an updo will definitely make the whole look feel more formal!

Dang girl. You are rocking the bridesmaid dress. I like how the sport jacket switches the entire feel of the dress. :]
