Talking more trend items for #OOTDOctober Day 21! Easily one of the most prevalent styles this season has been the plaid blazer. I’ve always loved a good blazer, so I’m definitely on board with this trend! I hit up Target in an effort to find a good plaid blazer on a budget, and I wasn’t disappointed! This piece from Mossimo checks off all the details that makes a great plaid blazer–it has perfectly ruched sleeves, a slightly oversized boyfriend cut, and long lapels. All those details help dress down what is otherwise a structured piece!
I paired the blazer with the Warp + Weft jeans I’ve been reaching for nonstop, a lace top (just to keep it simple) and black ankle boots! Looking back these photos, I kind of wish I’d just gone with a white T instead, but that just sounds like my outfit uniform of late! haha I also really want to pair this blazer with a flippy, high-waisted black skirt and over-the-knee boots for a sassier, dressed up outfit remix of this blazer.
I can’t believe tomorrow is the last look of #OOTDOctober! As much as I’m ready for a bit of a break, I’m actually looking forward to shooting a few more looks for you guys! It has FINALLY cooled down (just in time for this series to be over -_-), so I can shoot my outerwear for you guys! Let me know what kind of content what you guys want to see coming up–I’m so excited for the cooler weather! 🙂

May I know what size you are wearing? Thanks

Hi! The blazer is an XXL! I’m typically a size 18/20, so I think the blazer runs big (most XXL’s don’t fit me).
