I had a whole post ready to go, talking about how obsessed I am with finding odds and ends from the Missoni x Target collaboration, chunky knits, and all the goodies I want to bust out for Fall, but the news of Steve Jobs’ passing has overshadowed all my usual frivolity.
In memory of Steve Jobs, I wanted to post one of my favorite quotes. This came from the commencement address he gave at Stanford university in 2005. I try to always keep it in mind when making choices, and it’s led me to some of my favorite moments in life. I hope it can do the same for you.
“Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma—which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most importantly, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.”

Beautiful outfit and wonderful tribute to Steve Jobs. He was such a brilliant man, visionary, and role model. He'll be missed.

Beautifully tough is how I describe this outfit post of yours. I like the bag and the necklace while the sandals and leather skirt provide some toughness. So this is an outfit that is both beautiful and tough.
As for Steve Jobs, he will surely be missed. Still caught off-guard by this news.

I really love your skirt and those shoes are fabulous.
I was really sad to hear about Steve Jobs passing myself, I knew he had been really sick and not looking so well for awhile but there is still always a sliver of hope that the person will get better. Cancer is horrible.

I think we're all shaken by Steve Jobs' passing.
I hope you still post your Missoni thoughts when you are feeling up to it.

I love the cami under the semi sheer sweater! I would have seen that sweater and put it back on the rack because I would never have thought to put a cami under it and coordinate the cami into my outfit. NICE!
