This post was done in collaboration with my friends at Lane Bryant! As always, all statements and opinions are my own! 🙂Hi friends! Things are much different in the world than the last time I posted here, right? I hope you and your loved ones have all been healthy and safe! Both Thanh and I have been lucky enough to work from home for the time being, so I’m very thankful for that!
As much of the country remains at home, I’ve been leaning into the everyday things that bring me joy, like windowsill gardening, doing my makeup, and of course, styling outfits! While I’m not expecting to go out anytime soon, dressing up just for me has been a fun way to get my mind off all the stress of an ever-churning newsreel, and supporting my favorite brands has been a central part of that!
This dress checks all my favorite boxes–it’s off shoulder, swooshy, and super comfortable! I also really like that the simple print makes it seasonless, especially in So Cal! It has an elastic waist, but I opted to style it with a raffia stretch belt. The tortoise shell-esque buckle is so summery and chic! I thought it would be cute to go for all raffia/straw accessories, so I slipped on these amazing raffia sandals (which are SO luxe, TBH) and a straw floppy hat! The cherry orange on top has to be these super fun beaded earrings! They put an instant smile on my face, which is very much needed at the moment. I swapped out the post since I don’t have pierced ears, but the original is even cuter!
Lane Bryant, like many retailers, is still serving its customers via online shopping, and has been having some insanely good sales! If you haven’t checked them out yet lately, I highly recommend doing so!
