Still on this dark florals kick since it’s one of the easier ways to transition my wardrobe into fall without burning up! Can you believe it’s supposed to be over 100 degrees where I am today?! That’s NUTS. So yes, while others are busting out their fall coats, I’m over here trying to figure out what I can wear that I won’t sweat profusely in. hahaha So, dark florals it is!
This dress from ASOS is quickly becoming a favorite since it’s so comfortable and flowy! It’s a super soft, drape-y jersey material, and stretches so it literally feels like you’re wearing pajamas. I love it! I toughened up the look with my Sigerson Morrison ankle booties that I’m honestly scared to wear for long periods of time lest I scratch or crease them (ridiculous, right?). They’re just so perfect and shiny at the moment, and I’m typically so rough on my shoes. Let me know if you have any shoe care tips that you think I can apply to these! They’re smooth leather so I feel like they’re particularly susceptible to showing marks.
I opted for a throwback clutch to go with this look. This lace clutch from the Jason Wu x Target collaboration has been in my closet for ages going unused, and fall feels like the perfect time to break it out again. I forgot how much I love a good oversized clutch for stuffing all my essentials! And while we’re on the topic of bags, what are some of your favorites this season? I’m itching to update my bag collection but haven’t found anything that quite strikes my fancy!
