When you think of David’s Bridal, what comes to mind? Probably wedding dresses, bridesmaids dresses, and bridal shoes and accessories, right? While you totally hit the nail on the head, I’m partnering with David’s Bridal today to share that they carry way more than just wedding dresses! I remember walking into David’s Bridal during my hunt for the perfect wedding dress and being surprised to see that they offer so many affordable, non-wedding dress options in store! They have everything from floral maxi dresses (I love this one!) that are perfect for a spring brunch or fancy summer barbecue, to formal gowns fit for black tie events. We’re solidly into wedding season, and one of the questions I get asked the most is where to find great formal wear in plus sizes! I thought it would be fun to share this gorgeous gown with you guys since it’s perfect for any black tie wedding or event. The dress actually has two shoulder straps which I opted to tuck since I love a clean off-shoulder neckline, but I know many of you guys like the extra support that straps offer so I thought I’d mention it. The straps definitely offer some versatility! The skirt of the gown is a stunning mesh and floral lace overlaid on a contrasting lining so the pattern really pops. The texture of the lace in person is so beautiful and luxe, too! I love that it’s interesting but still understated, making it perfect for so many different occasions. I plan on styling this for a friend’s wedding later this year and I can’t wait to glam it up in this gown!
